Our 6 class teachers, 2 ASD class teachers, our 13 Additional Needs Assistants (ANAs) who support and guide our pupils in their learning and development.
3 Special Education Teachers (SETs) and a Nurture Teacher, who provide additional care and learning support tailored to the needs of every child.
Linda and Samantha, our dynamic duo who run the Breakfast Club, organise lunches, and keep our school sparkling and welcoming every day. Liam, our caretaker, who makes sure everything runs smoothly and safely.
Every member of our team plays a vital role in making Ollies the nurturing, inclusive, and joyful place it is. Our whole staff is trauma-aware and committed to working in caring, restorative ways, always placing the well-being of our children at the heart of what we do
What we are proud of?......
Nurture in Ollies
In Ollies, we believe that every child thrives when they feel safe, happy, and valued. We are a nurturing community where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. By building strong, caring connections between staff, children, and families, we create an environment where every child feels supported and understood.
We know that the best learning happens when children feel secure and confident. That’s why we place well-being at the centre of school life—ensuring our pupils are encouraged, respected, and inspired every day. Our vision is to help every child grow not only in knowledge, but also in kindness, resilience, and joy for learning.
As an accredited Nurture School and a Restorative Practice School, we are committed to ensuring that our approach reflects the highest standards of care and support. We stay up to date with the latest best practices in Nurture and Restorative approaches, and we work closely with new developments in these areas. This ensures that our pupils benefit from the most effective, compassionate strategies to support their well-being and learning.
Diversity in Ollies
At Ollies, everybody is welcome. We are proud to be a school where children, families, and staff feel accepted, valued, and respected for who they are. Our school community celebrates the richness that comes from diversity—whether in culture, language, background, ability, or belief.
We believe that every child has the right to belong and to feel part of our school family. By nurturing an atmosphere of kindness and respect, we ensure that every member of our community feels safe, supported, and included.
At Ollies, difference is not just accepted—it is celebrated. We encourage our children to learn from one another, to appreciate the unique strengths that each person brings, and to grow into compassionate, open-minded individuals who are ready to thrive in the wider world.
We are also especially proud to have recently opened two ASD classes. Welcoming these new students into our school family has been a joy, and we are delighted to share in their development journey. Their presence enriches our whole school community, and we celebrate their progress, achievements, and unique contributions every day.
Because at Ollies, everybody is welcome, and everybody belongs.
